LAST MINUTE NEW YEARS EVE OUTFITS
This year has definitely flown by, mentally I am still in March. It has definitely been one hell of a roller coaster ride, a year that we didn’t see coming last year this time. Anyway current situation is not ideal, most of us are in some types of partial or complete lock downs, and this years’ NYE celebrations will have to be moved online (like everything has been since March lol). But, even though we are stuck at home that doesn’t mean we don’t have to dress up for the ocassion.
This year once again in collaboration with Femme Luxefinery I have created some last minute outfit ideas for NYE, ranging from lounge wear to supper dressy. Let’s get into it.
Option number 1 is to keep the sweatpants and lounge wear style going on. But switching the over-sized fit, with something more fitter yet still cozy and comfortable. This two piece set from Femme Luxefinery is to die for. The fit, the style, the color and just how cozy it is overall. I love the creme color of it. Definitely something that I will be living on in the next few weeks.
Option number 2 is something dressier than sweats yet not too dressy. This is definitely an outfit that you can wear in many ways, even after the holidays (unlike all the bedazzled and sequin items). Sleeveless sweater vests have been a trend recently, and I will admit I like this trend. I got this over sized sleeveless vest/dress from Femme Luxefinery, paired it up with a simple white shirt and Chelsea boots. I am really digging this outfit, and already wore it twice by now. You can also wear the vest with pants, it will look fabulous.
Option 3 and 4 are on the very dressy side. Just because we will stay home this year doesn’t mean we can’t go all out and dress up. After all we did spend the majority of the year in pjs and sweats…First is this midi kinda slip dress. Super simple yet elegant, love the lower back fit. Paired it up with gold heels. The second dress is this square neck mini red dress. I love the detailing of this one and the fit, it is mini but not too mini, and the color is just stunning. Both dresses can be worn for different occasions, so they are definitely not one of those wear once and never again dresses.
With this I end this week’s post, let me know which outfit you like the most. And if you still need some inspo check out Femme Luxefinery’s website.
