MRIZI I ZANAVE AGROTOURISM: FROM FARM TO TABLE CONCEPT

Let me introduce you to the concept of farm to table and the agrotourism Mrizi i Zanave in Lezhe in the north part of Albania. The complex has a farm, restaurant, garden and a small hotel. It offers a proper agrotourism experience. Everything that they serve you is grown on their land and home made. Also, the menu changes each season depending on what products are in season then.
Everything is produced locally and it’s organic. Their dishes vary from various vegetables, different types of bread and pastries, cheese and meat selection, meat specialties, pasta, wine, juices and so much more. Everything is grown on the farm and home made.


The menu is pretty simple you get served a selection of appetizers that feature a selection of cheese and dried meat, combined with vegetables, olives, bread and pastries. For main dish you can pick some of their homemade pasta with berries (a specialty from the region) or some meat specialties like goat, sheep or duck. Whatever, you decide to go with you won’t regret it. The food is absolutely delicious. And don’t get me started on the desserts they are to die for my last visit I had ice cream from roses and it was divine.


You can walk around the farm and see the animals and the crops. In warmer weather there is also outdoor setting which is amazing. Best part is that some of the products are produced are available for purchase in the little store they have. All the jams are amazing and the dried tomatoes are 10/10.
My advice would be to book a few days in advance since they are full all the time, and if you can stay overnight too.
