Enjoying the season of layering and knitwear for a little while longer, before we pack all the winter clothes and transition to spring and summer attire. The past few days have been surprisingly warm and sunny and I finally got to wear some of the new pieces I received from Femme Luxefinery a few days ago.
Thankfully, this year we didn’t really experience freezing weather and blizzards (hope I don’t jinx the good weather with this). Meaning that the weather was still somewhat bearable to go out and not be covered in 5 layers in order not to freeze. The past week it’s been surprisingly warm and sunny for a January.
January always feels like the longest months of the year, getting back on track after all the holidays and celebrations is hard, especially when the weather is gloomy and foggy and all you want to do is stay at home and avoid all responsibilities. The weather makes everything a bit depressing and melancholic, but on the bright side January is the month of sales and the perfect time to score some wonderful winter pieces (that you can still wear for the next month or so, and next season of course).
Winter days are meant for warm and cozy outfits. What I like to wear the most in winter are knits…in all shapes, colors, styles and forms. My latest wardrobe obsession have been knitted dresses, I already own 4 or 5 knitted dresses. They are my current go to piece when styling. Not only they are keeping me warm, they are also super stylish and give the idea that you put A LOT of effort in the outfit.
The holiday spirit is still among us, and will stay for a little while longer. In between Christmas shopping, decorating the house, catching up with friends and family, I managed to find some time and shoot a new winter/festive outfit,
