As of yesterday, the curfew is officially done and since today restaurants and coffee shops are opened. What seems to be “freedom” and “normal” is back in our lives, although I highly doubt we will be able to get back to the “normal” we used to know before this. After 78 days of lockdown, with minimum going out (except for essentials), it felt like a breath оf fresh air when I read that the curfew is over and restaurants are opening. But 5 seconds later I kinda got sad that this is over. Because, to be honest I kinda enjoyed this time at home, and a life without FOMO (any introvert can relate I guess).
Being at home 24/7 with all the restaurants closed has gotten me really into cooking. I mean have you watched my last two vlogs? I even made pizza from scratch, if you have missed them click here. Anyway one of the things I enjoy most about quarantine is the fact that I can pay more attention to what I eat, and try to eat as clean and as healthy as I can. I wanted in today’s blog post to share with you guys my favorite oatmeal recipe.
Can’t believe it is already May…March felt like it lasted an eternity and April literally lasted a second. Anyway, May is my favorite month, love that everything is in full bloom, it’s the season of strawberries, the weather is just perfect not too hot to sweat and not to cold to need to wear a thick jacket, also it’s my birthday month, and I am all about celebrating my birthday.
Quarantine has definitely changed our daily lives and the routines we had. Overnight everything that we used to do on daily basis became illegal. This is a drastic change for everyone, and it takes a lot of time to get somewhat adjusted to the new situation.
