Where do I even begin with this year’s recap? I mean this whole year has been a rollercoaster, and not the good type of rollercoaster that makes you scream and throw your hands up, but the type that leaves you nauseous and disoriented. Looking back, the first half of the year and the second half of the year are like two completely different years, I am a completely different person to what I was 6 months ago. And for the first time (I think) I cannot wait for the year to end.
We are here.
In the moment of drawing the last line with which we let go of the baggage from the last 365 days.
To say goodbye and let go of what is left from the not so good things and with a smile to remember all the good words and actions, reasons enough to celebrate the New Year, that feels like a personal magical reset.
The end of the old and the start of the New Year for many is like a birthday, a true moment of recapitulation on what we did, how much we changed, and what we genuinely want in the next 12 months.
