There’s nothing better than going back home for the holidays, decorating the Christmas tree, spending time with family and friends, and to just be carried by the Christmas spirit. Although, I usually get overwhelmed around the Christmas period, but I am always happy to spend the holidays at home with my family.
There is nothing that symbolizes more the holiday season than the smell of freshly baked gingerbread dough. From eatable houses that look like small masterpieces, to dressed up in icing gingerbread men, cakes, candles, room scents and what not. If you have been following me from the very beginning you will know that every year for Christmas me and my dad bake and decorate a gingerbread house. It’s a father-daughter tradition we have for 5 years now.
Holidays are the second name for happiness.
They remind me of my early childhood days, when I used to stick my face on the window in hope to see Santa Clause or at least his footsteps in the snow.
