NYE outfit ideas
For many dressing up and finding the perfect outfit is a big part for their New Years Eve celebration, or just another reason to go shopping and buy few pieces to add in our wardrobe. If you are still wandering what to wear for NYE and are looking for inspiration. I decided to put on some outfits that might help you in deciding what to wear.
I will start off with more casual outfits and go to a bit more extra. If you don’t feel like dressing up too much or you just want to be comfortable during the evening here are some ideas.
Dark florals are very trendy this winter, so this dress is a perfect piece to have this winter. The dress itself has a lot going on already, so you don’t need to try too hard. I decided to add a chain belt, to give it a more fitted look, tights (which are optional), black chelsea boots and a bucket bag.

If you are not a dress person, there is something for you too. The second outfit is this black and white combination with a little twist. Basic white blouse tucked in leather pants, over the knee boots and a small cross body bag.

If you want to dress up a bit more or be extra here are some other outfit ideas. Something between not too casual and not too dressy. See through shirt paired up with a pencil skirt and a belt, tights and sandals. Wearing tights with open toe sandals is quiet trendy this year, but also a bit tricky. My advice is to wear the same color of tights and sandals (black for me is the best), otherwise it looks really distasteful.

Next, a more classy look. You can never go wrong with a little black dress. This dress however, is not your ordinary plain black dress. The cape in the back gives it a very sophisticated and classy look, and while it has a deep V neck it still doesn’t look too provocative.

Lastly, if you want to steal the show and be extra then sequin is the answer. New Years Eve, apart from a costume party, is the only time when is acceptable to wear sequins and glitter all over. Just be careful not to overdo it. For an example if you decide on a sequin dress, keep the shoes and accessories to the bare minimum. This is actually the dress I wore last year for NYE.
As for this year I am still deciding, but I might go with option number 3 🙂
