The second par of the PR trip with JK travel was taking place in the northern and eastern part of Macedonia. A very fun and eventful day. Discovering this part of Macedonia with an old beetle (fun fact: beetle is my favorite car haha). Anyway let’s get into the journey.
If you follow me on instagram than you know that last weekend I was on a very interesting PR trip with JK Travel around Macedonia. We visited Mariovo and Krushevo, and did very interesting activities there. You can read my Mariovo post here, but this week I will tell you about our day trip to Krushevo and what we did.
Mariovo is my favorite region in Macedonia, I’ve visited for the first time 8-9 years ago and fell in love with it. It’s natural beauty, deserted villages, canyons, medieval monuments, rivers and bridges. Today, quite a popular place in Macedonia that it attracts visitors from all over, interested in history, nature and scouters of movie location.
Next stop on my discovering Macedonia travel itinerary was an aqueduct built in Roman time, located very close to the city of Skopje. I had no idea this place existed until I was googling and came across photos of it. I asked around and not that many people actually knew about it, not even people who are from Skopje. So, it was definitely a gem that I had to visit.
Continuing with the mini travel series from Macedonia. If you missed the first one, click here to read it. Continuing the discovery of hidden gems, my second stop was the Monastery Treskavec in the Pelagonija region close by the city Prilep.
